How To Make Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese
Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese is a recipe my wife has been asking me to make for months. I finally caved, created one, and now I want to share it with you! This is a crunchy and tasty treat you're sure to enjoy and it will leave your family and friends asking for more. Make sure you give this a try!!
Ingredients:
380 g Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
50 g Cheddar Cheese
50 g Irish Cheddar
50 g of Diced Jalapeño (100 g if you want a little more kick)
3 Stalks Green Onion
Fist Full of Flat Leaf Parsley
60 g Bacon Crumble
2 tbsp Butter
Pepper (to taste)
10 Slices Sour Dough Bread Directions:
Pre heat your oven to 400 F while we prepare the sandwich.
Combine all the ingredients except the bread and butter. You can just do this with a fork. No special equipment required. Mix well until all combined.
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread in a pan set to medium temperature. We don't want it too hot or we will burn the bread before the cheese melts.
Cook like a regular grilled cheese until both sides are golden brown. We want to get our melt on so once you get the color on your bread that you want, take your pan and place in the oven for 10-15 or until the cheese is gooey and melty. If your pan is not oven save, then transfer to a pan.
Serve hot! But not like burn your mouth with lava hot, just like, hot and melty and glorious kind of hot.
